The Biden administration is taking steps to increase the production of critical minerals on U.S. soil. NTD spoke to Luiza Moreno, the president of Defense Metals Corp. She explains how China processes most of the world’s rare earth. And she says the U.S. mines about 15-percent of those elements, but they are exported to China for processing.
