Why Watching Metals is a Waste of Time
I am pretty sure that if one would look up “noise” in the dictionary there would be a slide that looks something like this:
… Focus on picking the best companies…
Roll thumbs/sit on hands and wait for and assess news releases…
Rinse and repeat…
Everything else is just noise.
When you have reached a point where a) You barely look or care if gold is up or down on any given day and b) You find investing to be more boring than ever then know you are on the right track to the top.
Looking at the big picture today, Im not sure an economist could give us a true reflection of our global markets. The Canary in the coal mine has all but died.
I would rather be bored than late!
“Rather bored than late” is a good point. Today being bored, and allowing oneself to stay bored (sit on your hands), might be the hardest thing ever. The idea of instant gratification/riches has seen a market of nothing (crypto) grow to >$1T… Sign of the times
