Investing Theory… Where is it?
Anyone ever seen someone in the mining space recommend a book on value investing or investing overall?
Me neither.
Personally I consider investing theory to be much more important than knowledge of geology or mining engineering.
… Think about it.
I would say that the last book by Bob Moriarty called “Basic Investing in Resource Stocks: The Idiot’s Guide”, is the best single source on how to survive and hopefully even flourish in this space, which is written by someone who has seen it all.

True, and it has been a best seller I think. One of few books that can prepare people for this inhospitable environment. Also likes that it hammers in the point that almost everything is a trade and the focus ought to be to go against the grain and buy low/sell high. Follow those basic rules and one should be OK no matter if 95% of juniors will never amount to anything.
