Test: How Much do You Like Your Portfolio?

• Which mining stocks in your portfolio would you recommend a family member to buy?
• Which mining stocks in your portfolio would you say have fairly low downside?
• Which mining stocks in your portfolio would you be comfortable holding for 1 year with no option to sell before that?
• Which mining stocks in your portfolio would you be comfortable holding for 5 years with no option to sell before that?
• Which mining stocks in your portfolio would you be comfortable holding for 10 years with no option to sell before that?

If the honest answer is no one, to every question, then you probably have way too many “get rich quick” long shots in your portfolio.

Investing a marathon, not a sprint. Getting wealthy/rich in the long run through more conservative investing has a much higher chance of happening then trying to get wealthy/rich within a year by betting it all on long shots.

… Remember, you can’t compound what you don’t have anymore!
