New Found Gold Corp. Presents: “Race Grace” (TSX-V: NFG; NYSE-A: NFGC)

As the holidays fast approach, it’s good to reflect on our years here and think about what we are grateful for. One of the biggest things for New Found Gold Corp. is we are proud to call Newfoundland home. Our quest is more than just assembling a world class gold deposit in one of the world’s most outstanding mining jurisdictions. New Found Gold also values being a part of the community, by both providing career opportunities to the people of Newfoundland, as well as supporting the local residents.

Enter Grace Melendy, a teenager with a passion for fast driving. Grace approached New Found Gold, seeking sponsorship to further her auto racing dreams. It is a great way to support Grace in her racing dreams and to raise awareness for New Found Gold and the progress we are making in creating a world-class gold system. So naturally we jumped at it.

The current world of auto racing has been male dominated. Along the way, a few young women have broken through and onto the race tracks – like Jamie Chadwick & Tatiana Calderón, who are both currently working their way to the goal of Formula 1 for Mercedes-Benz and Alfa Romeo, and Hailie Deegan, who is vying for a future NASCAR seat. Now Newfoundland has its own female racing star, happily competing out on the ovals and circuits with her male counterparts. And New Found Gold Corp is grateful to play a small part in helping Grace get out there and show what she’s got on the track. Look out NASCAR, IndyCar and Formula 1, it’s time to “Race Grace!”
