White Rock Minerals says ‘eureka!’ following 972 g/t gold hit
White Rock Minerals Ltd managing director and CEO Matt Gill joins Proactive to discuss a 972 g/t gold hit from the Morning Star gold mine in Victoria. The company’s first-pass drilling phase is now complete and promising results are in from the Gap Zone, an underexplored area at Morning Star that has caught White Rock’s eye. To date, two intersections have assayed greater than 700 g/t gold, while results from another eight holes are still in the pipeline. Looking at the metal endowment, WRM’s latest two results would have been in the top 10 of any hole in the world in the week they were reported. White Rock has since kicked off interpretation and follow-up drill planning to support underground development and pre-production activities at the Morning Star mine.
